Marissa started Tomboy Trades in March 2006 with the intent of hanging from scaffolds and ladders and painting houses 3 – 4 days a week.  

Life changed when “Betsy,” the pink work boot came to life.

Wendy Gibson

Designer/Consultant

Wendy joined the Tomboy Trades team in the later parts of 2006, and was intrumental in helping Marissa achieve her Tomboy Trades vision and launch it into motion.

Wendy brings 25 years of experience to the effort with background in print media and advertising.

Pauline is traveling across the pond from France to join our team in Markham, Ontario in March 2008.

Laura Stratton thrives on the pressure and dynamic atmosphere that comes with serving leading clients with their ever-changing needs.  In her eight years of public relations experience Laura has a track record in developing strategic and compelling programs for clients that exceed their goals and meet their budgets. 

Kevin Kuhlemeier

Media Director

Kevin started with Tomboy Trades in February of 2007, and has been responsible for the website ever since.  His background is in marketing, emarketing, technical writing and web design.  Working in marketing and e-commerce since 1993, he brings his "two-cents" where ever the girls let him.
